We DO NOT allow outside food or drink inside the building.

This includes outside food and treats for the cats.

Use calm and quiet voices.

There is NO yelling, barking, running, chasing, or climbing.

Do NOT pick the cats up.

Do NOT open the doors to the cat rooms.

Children MUST be supervised at all times.

Anyone not able to follow the rules will be asked to leave. No refund will be given.

Why is there an admission fee for the cat room?

A visit to Right Meow Cat Café is an experience!

We provide an amazing, cage-free environment for the cats that reside with us and that costs money. The entry fees help cover all of the expenses associated with offering a wonderful foster home to the cats until they get adopted. This includes rent, utilities, insurance, and cat care to name just a few. We charge a typical cat café fee for admission to the cat area to keep our doors open and continue our mission to save cats. Your entry fee and drink purchases make this possible since 100% of all adoption fees go to our rescue partner.

Do I bring my cat?

Sorry...No.

For everyone's health, safety, and serenity, personal cats must stay at home. Our café has fully vetted rescue cats. These cats want and deserve your undivided love and attention.

Besides... as much fun as you think it would be, your cat would probably not appreciate a visit anyway.

Where do your cats come from?

Our cats come from our partner, Facilitate Rescue. Facilitate Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit cat rescue based in Harnett County, North Carolina. With the help of fosters, volunteers and donations, they rescue many cats and kittens each year from the Harnett County Shelter in Lillington, NC. They also take in kittens and cats from the community, when able, and are dedicated to saving cats in danger of euthanasia.

Can I bring my children?

We love kids! Cats and kids are not always a natural combination. To ensure their safety and the safety and serenity of our rescue cats, our age requirement is 6+ during regular business hours. Children  must  be able to follow the rules of the cat rooms and parents are expected to supervise their children to ensure they adhere to our rules at all time.

Parties with minors 6-12 years of age MUST HAVE ONE ADULT PER TWO CHILDREN present inside the cat rooms.

Parties with minors 13-15 must have an adult on the premises.

For private parties...please see PRIVATE SESSION page.

For our youngest cat lovers (0-5), you may book a special "Mini Meows" reservation Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings at 11-11:30. Saturday mornings at 10-10:30.

EACH ADULT AND CHILD needs a ticket.

Please have one adult for EACH child out of a carrier.

What is "Mini Meows"?

ONE adult per EACH child.

Each adult and child MUST have their OWN ticket.

Exceptions are infants that remain in a carrier.

Parents MUST be actively supervising.

Children unable to calmly and safely interact with the cats will need to be taken outside.

Booking in advance is highly encouraged.

I found a cat. Can you take it?

We wish we could but, no. While we wish we could help in every situation... we are not able to take cats/kittens directly. Please contact an area rescue with any found cats or kittens. Our cats/kittens come directly from our partner rescue, Facilitate Rescue. Our age appropriate cats have been vetted and spayed/neutered so that they can safely reside in the cafe and be ready for adoption once their Right Meows arrive.

Parking?

While we are fortunate to have a small parking lot in back dedicated to our cafe, it can get full during evening and weekend hours. We ask customers to carpool whenever possible and please do not use our neighbor's parking lot Tuesdays-Fridays 8:00-5:00.   Thank you!

If you require handicap access into the cafe for drinks, please ring the bell in our handicap spot upon arrival. We will be with you as soon as possible.

If you require handicap access into the cafe for a scheduled cat therapy session, please email us at therightmeowllc@gmail.com to coordinate and ensure the smoothest visit possible.

Thank you!

When should I visit?

It’s ALWAYS a great time to visit and enjoy the café! Please note, the cats are here to live, not to perform. Like all cats, they take a lot of naps, most often in the middle of the day from 12-3:00. We schedule a cat nap time daily for this very reason. If you wish to visit during a time when they are typically more active, consider booking earlier or later in the day.

Weekend and holiday sessions fill up quickly so it is encouraged to book online at least a week in advance.
